Shipping

PLEASE INSPECT ALL SHIPPING CONTAINERS AND PRODUCTS BEFORE YOU ACCEPT DELIVERY FROM THE FREIGHT COMPANY.

iGotKidsFurniture.com ships many products directly from the manufacturers and/or from our distribution center in Plant City, Florida. Upon receipt of an order, an iGotKidsFurniture.com representative will contact you with the estimated shipping and delivery dates for your purchase. Many smaller products can be shipped via UPS or similar ground service while larger products/orders will be shipped via a truck line service. For all orders shipped with a truck line service, one of their representatives will contact you directly to arrange delivery. As expected with a furniture purchase, some of the items can be quite large and many orders include at least one box that weighs 75-100 pounds. Most of our products ship unassembled in cartons and may be palletized to add protection against shipping damage.

IMPORTANT:  Shipping/delivery fees are an additional charge on top of the quoted prices unless otherwise noted.  All products shipped via UPS or other ground service will be delivered to your door.  As for a truck line service, our CURB-SIDE DELIVERY provides for destination delivery only.  That means you are responsible for transferring the items from the truck to inside your residence.  For an additional charge, our INSIDE DELIVERY provides for the truck line to place the items in the first dry area over a threshold like a garage.  NOTE:  This delivery is not to a designated room within your home and does not include uncrating or package removal.  A request for our INSIDE DELIVERY MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF YOUR PURCHASE.  If you have concerns about shipping/delivery, or would like additional information, please contact us at sales@igotkidsfurniture.com.

Inspection for Damaged or Missing Merchandise

iGotKidsFurniture.com takes every precaution to properly prepare your order for shipping.  Sometimes, even our best efforts are unsuccessful and your furniture arrives damaged.  This is usually due to the rigorous conditions that the packages go through during the transportation process. 

Minor Damage

If your item suffers minor damage from shipping, it can be repaired on site most of the time.  If a replacement part is required, it will be sent to you.  Contact sales@igotkidsfurniture.com, and we take care of the rest.  The repair and/or part are free of charge to you.

Obvious/Severe Damage

If the merchandise has obvious damage, refuse the shipment at the time of delivery.  If only one item out of many is damaged, refuse just that one item.  Please, contact sales@igotkidsfurniture.com immediately so we can begin the replacement process with the manufacturer and/or truck line.  You are not responsible for shipping charges on the second delivery.

Concealed Damage

DEFINITION:  The outside container of an item looks in good condition while the product inside the box is damaged and no damage is reported on shipping receipt.  IMPORTANT:  If there is concealed damage to the merchandise, freight companies do not give a 100% replacement value, and iGotKidsFurniture.com is not responsible for the difference.

Missing Items/Parts

As for missing merchandise, every once in a while manufacturers short a piece or part.  If so, just email sales@igotkidsfurniture.com, and we will ship the missing items to you free of charge.  IMPORTANT:  If the number of pieces on the freight bill DO NOT equal the number of pieces received, please note the delivery receipt and contact sales@igotkidsfurniture.com.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

This is our agreement with you concerning your purchase from us.  This agreement cannot be changed except by a written agreement signed by YOU and iGotKidsFurniture.com.

1.    REFUND POLICY. You may receive a total refund of any monies placed as deposit for orders only if you cancel the sales within 48 hours of the date of purchase.  If you charged your purchase, we will credit your charge account.  All other refunds will be made by check and will be mailed to you.  If you do not cancel the sale within 48 hours 75% of the purchase price will be refunded to you and 25% will be the restocking fee.  *See the iGotKidsFurniture.com 100% Satisfaction Guarantee for more details.

2.     At anytime after the purchase, we can correct mistakes in pricing or arithmetic made in computing your purchase price.  We also reserve the right to make changes without notice to the contents of our website.

3.     Prices shown online are only valid for delivery within the continental United States.  Prices DO NOT include shipping and handling charges unless otherwise stated.

4.     Any change of the delivery address or change in the order must be made either in person or by telephone.  Any change will be binding only if an iGotKidsFurniture.com manager confirms the change before delivery.  Changes may delay the delivery date.

5.     There are NO C.O.D.'s.  ALL orders must be PAID IN FULL prior to delivery by cashiers check, approved credit cards or verified personal checks.

6.     Merchandise sold "AS IS" will not be eligible for exchange, allowance, refund, or service. All "AS IS" sales are final.  Merchandise sold "AS IS" is sold without any express or implied warranties of any type.

7.     Products labeled "Assembly Required" or "Unassembled" are delivered in factory packed cartons for assembly by the purchaser.

8.     We retain title to furnishings until paid in full.

9.     If we have to pay any monies or hire an attorney to collect payment from you, we can recover from you all of our collection costs, including the fees of our attorney.  All indebtedness so collected here stated shall bear interest at the highest rate allowable by law.

10.    THE FOLLOWING WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THERE ARE NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT EXTEND BEYOND THE LIMITED WARRANTY DESCRIBED BELOW. We warrant that the merchandise you purchase from us will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of delivery unless otherwise stated.  This warranty only applies to you as the original purchaser and to the merchandise, which has remained at the original delivery site.  In order to recover under this warranty you must give us written notice of the defect within the one-year warranty period.

This warranty does not cover the following:

                                    -Damage due to misuse, abuse or accidents.

                                    -Damage or discoloration caused by sunlight or artificial lighting sources.

                                    -Variation of the color or graining of wood or wood products.

                                    -Furnishings that have been altered by the purchaser.

If the furnishings we sell you do not meet the above warranty or any other warranty expressed or implied, we will at our option, as your only remedy, either repair or replace the non-conforming merchandise.  Except to the extent expressly prohibited by Florida Law, we are not liable to you for any consequential or incidental damage for breach of this or any other warranty.

11. SPECIAL ORDER POLICY. Buyer acknowledges all SPECIAL ORDERS are final and are stocked by seller especially for sale to the buyer under this agreement and that seller has no other market for such goods. Special orders may accordingly be cancelled at seller's option only. If buyer cancels his special order, seller may retain any deposit (which must be in the form of cash, check or credit/debit card) as liquidated damages. SELLER SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR, (UNCONTROLABLE BY THE SELLER), DELAYS IN FACTORY DELIVERY TO SELLER AND/OR BUYER. 12.   Merchandise will be shipped at the buyers' request using contract carriers.  No delivery will be made unless the buyer or an individual authorized by the buyer executes an acceptance signature.

13.   All, claims and service, requests must be accompanied by a copy of this receipt.
